Redeemed Marriage offers both individual and couple to couple counseling and mentoring services
Both counseling and mentoring are rooted in:
1) Scripture
2) Relationship with participants
The goal is always to make disciples for Christ. The relationship is not confined to only a scheduled meeting, but includes dialog between meetings as needed.
Counseling
Biblical Counseling can be viewed either by a stage of life (single, premarital, newly married, married, divorced) or format (one-to-one, couple-to-couple, small group. Counseling varies from a single session to several sessions over a period of time. Counseling tends to be focused on 1 to 3 well defined objectives.
Mentoring
Mentoring is either one-to-one or couple-to-couple. Mentoring takes place over a period of a year or more. The focus is much broader, typically with an objective of becoming a godly man, woman, husband, wife, couple, or parents. Meetings usually take place in the mentee’s home or participating in an activity.
When counseling or mentoring individuals, Darrell counsels men and Lisa counsels women. Couple-to-couple counseling and mentoring allows for a unique dynamic that Redeemed Marriage can offer couples.
